Recipe for Puffpuff PuffPuff is a very popular snack. It's the most commonly sold snack in Nigeria.  It is often served along with some other snacks as small chops in parties.  It's enjoyed by adults and kids alike. You can make PuffPuff at home. It has a very easy recipe. Ingredients Plain flour Ground Nutmeg Granulated Sugar Yeast Water (Warm water) Vegetable oil Pinch of salt Put the flour in a bowl, add the ground nutmeg, powdered yeast, sugar and salt. Mix all the dry ingredients together with a spatula. Till you have a good blend of all the ingredients. Gradually add warm water and mix together with the dry ingredients mixture. Keep mixing till the batter is smooth but not too watery to flow from a spoon. Cover the bowl with aluminum foil and make sure it is airtight. Ofada Stew (sauce) Ofada stew is a local stew that is now being included in dishes.  It is usually eaten with ofada rice, also a local meal. However it can be eaten with the plain white rice in the absence of the ofada rice. Ofada is usually interchanged with the Ayamase Ofada stew but there's a slight difference between them. The Pepper used is what makes the difference between both stews. Ofada stew is prepared with Red peppers; red bell peppers, red chilli peppers. While the Ayamase Ofada stew is prepared using the green variety of pepper. Since that is the real difference, this recipe can be used for Ayamase, once the right pepper is used. Peppered Chicken For those who enjoy very spicy food, Peppered chicken is a great choice. I guess you know why, even from the name... It's a mixture of grilled chicken and lots of pepper. Please do keep enough water beside you.🥤 Ingredients for Peppered Chicken 1. 1 whole chicken 2. Red bell peppers 3. Scotch bonnet 4. Onions 5. Stock cubes 6. Salt 7. Thyme 8. Vegetable oil 9. Big green bell peppers (optional) 10. 1tsp ginger powder (optional ) PREPARATION  First, wash and cut the chicken into desired sizes.🍗 Then cook the chicken with 1 onion, thyme and two stock cubes. Fry the chicken with vegetable oil  and set aside. Blend the red bell peppers,atarodo and 1 onion. Chop the green peppers(if you're adding it). Pour and heat vegetable oil  with 1 diced onions and stir fry for 2mins. Then pour the red bell peppers paste and stir fry until the oil settles at the top or for 20mins. Welcome to Cook Vibes.  A great choice for all Nigerian recipes. The first recipe I'll be posting is the recipe for Gizzdodo. Some call it Dodogizzard, some say it's Gizzards and Plantain. Gizzdodo is gradually becoming a popular choice of food in Nigeria. Its a nice variation for preparing plantain if you desire to eat plantain without the usual accompaniments. The ingredients. 1. 450g-500g Gizzard 2. 2-3 ripe plaintains 3. Fresh Tomatoes  4. Onion 5. Chilli pepper  6. Seasoning cubes 7. Vegetable oil 8. Thyme and Curry 9. Salt 10. Fresh ginger (optional)  11. Lettuce and carrots. (Optional-for garnishing)   Blend the tomatoes, green peppers, chilli peppers, whole onion and ginger to a smooth paste. Chop the gizzard into bite sizes and clean thoroughly. Add gizzard into a small pot, add  chopped onions, curry and thyme, seasoning and water to cover the gizzard, boil on medium heat till tender.
